Ski4Real offers a relaxed alternative to the more structured lessons of a conventional ski school approach; after all, you are on holiday. That aside, learning happens much more quickly and easily when you’re enjoying yourself and you’re on the move, making the most of the resort and your time on the slopes. Years of experience in skiing and sports education led to the development of our coaching styles.
Kim George is an ISIA Telemark and Alpine Skiing Instructor with over forty years of professional sports coaching experience. He is also a director of an outdoor activity base providing outdoor education and teacher training. Kim is passionate about helping others to enjoy the outdoors and whether you’ve a sense of adventure or are apprehensive about skiing, he’ll tailor the experience to facilitate your learning.
Kim’s courses and tuition are based in La Thuile, Italy, where the wide, well-groomed and uncrowded pistes are ideal for trying out new skills.
Michelle Blore is a BASI Telemark Instructor and DNS Cross-Country Instructor, also with many years’ experience of sports coaching. She has a degree in sports science, has been a Telemark skier for over fifteen years and is a qualified Sports Therapist, making her ideally suited to working with skiers returning after injury, as well as those who’re concerned about their fitness. And ladies, if you think Telemark skiing is a boy’s game, it’s time to reconsider!
Michelle’s courses are based in St Anton, Austria, which provides a huge variety of terrain for skiers to experience.
We both believe in patient teaching whilst enjoying the mountains. Taking in the scenery, stopping for a coffee and having fun skiing with a group of like-minded folk is all part of your holiday; within that context, learning comes naturally. Our courses are as flexible as possible, with the emphasis on getting the best out of the resort and companionship – more like skiing with friends than joining a class.
